Job description

Role Overview

As a Traffic Safety Protector, you will work with a team at job sites to ensure safety and traffic management. No prior experience or degree is required, as comprehensive training is provided. Your duties include setting up cones, signs, and barricades, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and maintaining a safe work environment. You will communicate with crew and supervisors, assist in keeping equipment clean, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, and some shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency hours. The role involves standing or walking up to 12 hours and lifting 40-50 pounds. Safety gear such as a hard hat, goggles, vest, whistle, walkie-talkie, and weather-appropriate clothing are provided, with safety boots required from the employee.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay ranges from $18.50 to $19.25 per hour, with overtime opportunities and pay increases within the first year. Paid training and traffic safety certification are provided.
