Job summary

DRW in Chicago is seeking a Software Engineer – Trading Operations to join a cross‑functional team supporting trading desks in London, Singapore and Chicago. You will own products from prototype to production, build trading apps and data pipelines, and collaborate with traders, researchers and engineers to optimize workflows.

You should have 2+ years in enterprise software, strong Git, Python/Java and Linux skills, and demonstrated experience with front, middle or back office in trading.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of enterprise experience in software engineering on systems using Git, Python/Java, Linux.
• Experience interacting with front office and senior management in a trading environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with traders, researchers and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of products from prototype to stable production.
• Embed with trading and operations stakeholders to deliver polished, ergonomic software solutions.
• Build, maintain and extend trading applications and data pipelines.
• Work with greenfield and legacy systems across Java and Python.
• Provide on-call support as needed.
