Job summary

DRW, a Chicago-based trading firm, seeks software engineers for Front Office Systems. You will embed with trading desks, build specialized tools, and scale alpha signals and risk management into robust production systems.

The role requires deep problem-solving, collaboration with data and research engineering teams, and a track record in delivering high-throughput software for financial markets. Competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Up to 7 years of experience using C++ and Python in fast-moving environments.
Experience directly with end customers, scoping and delivering production systems.
Ability to dive deep into complex problems and minimize complexity.
Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration across teams.
Experience in the financial markets, especially delta one and/or FICC options trading.
Experience with Linux-based, concurrent, high-throughput, low-latency software systems.

Responsibilities

Work with Cumberland and FICC options trading desks.
Take ownership of products from prototype to production.
Embed with trading desks, learn problem spaces and build solutions.
Build, maintain and extend the central trading platform.
Work across languages including C++, Python, Typescript; provide on-call support as needed.
