Job summary
DRW seeks a Trading Operations Engineer to support crypto trading desks in Chicago. You will work closely with traders, researchers, and engineers to optimize workflows and tools, handling trade capture, reconciliation, and daily P&L.
A strong background in derivatives and crypto, plus 2–3 years in relevant roles, is expected. You will interface with technology teams to improve and adopt firm-standard tools, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic, high-performance environment that values
Qualifications
- Strong interest or working knowledge in crypto assets.
- Experience interacting with front office and senior management in trading environments.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and implement solutions independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, CS, math, or equivalent exposure.
- 2-3 years in front/middle/back office or risk roles handling derivatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for crypto trading desks.
- Trade capture for futures and futures options.
- Trade and position reconciliation with clearing houses and brokers.
- Daily P&L calculation and substantiation.
- Support and enhance traders’ risk management tools and workflows.
