Job summary

DRW Trading Group in Chicago seeks a Software Engineer - Trading Operations to support trading desks across London, Singapore and Chicago. You will collaborate with traders, researchers and engineers to optimize workflows and deliver robust software.

You will own products end-to-end, build trading applications and data pipelines, and work across Java and Python, with on-call responsibilities. A bachelor’s in a quantitative field and 2+ years of enterprise experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of enterprise experience working on systems involving Version Control (Git), Python/Java, Linux
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders and engineers
• Experience interacting with front office and senior management in a trading environment
• Ability to work across multiple programming languages is a plus

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the products you create, from prototype to production
• Embed with Cumberland Mining trading and operations stakeholders, delivering polished software solutions
• Build, maintain and extend trading related applications and data pipelines
• Work with greenfield and legacy systems across Java and Python
• Provide on-call support as needed
