Job summary

IES is seeking a Quality Training Specialist to design and deliver trade-related curriculum for IES teams, perform quality audits, and provide on-site training support for projects.

You will develop classroom training, hands-on demonstrations, assessments, and exams, and collaborate with the training team to implement new programs while maintaining a safe learning environment. Travel within the branch/region may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years training experience or related role.
• Five years project management experience in telecom/electrical/construction.
• BICSI trainer certification preferred.
• Knowledge of job costing, planning, quality management, safety training, contract admin.
• Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
• Must meet driving standards.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Instructional design and adult learning theory knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver trade-related classroom training with hands-on demonstrations.
• Create pre-employment trade skill assessments (hands-on and written).
• Plan, conduct and evaluate management training to achieve job results.
• Assess training needs by collecting procedural information and tasks.
• Present training using software applications via computer, webinars, and other methods.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and write trainee performance reports.
• Maintain organization standards and safety in training environments.
• Design and implement new training programs; revise existing ones.
• Travel within branch/regional territory as needed.
