Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a Training & Quality professional to develop trade‑related curriculum, conduct quality audits, and provide on-site support for IES projects. The role emphasizes classroom and field training and program evaluation.

Candidates should bring 3+ years of training experience, project management in telecom/construction, and strong MS Office skills. Travel within the branch/region may be required; safety and quality standards are a priority.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years training experience or related role.
• Five years project management experience in telecommunications, electrical or construction.
• BICSI certified trainer preferred.
• Knowledge of job costing, job planning, quality management and safety training.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
• Must meet driving standards and be willing to travel within territory.
• Working knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide trade-related training in classroom and virtual settings.
• Create pre-employment trade-related skill assessments.
• Plan and conduct management training; evaluate results.
• Assess training needs by reviewing procedures and tasks.
• Deliver training using software applications, webinars and online classrooms.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and write performance reports.
• Maintain standards and improve training processes.
• Ensure a safe and pleasant learning environment.
• Travel as needed within branch/ regional territory.
