Job summary

IES is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to develop and deliver training programs for low-voltage systems, focusing on field quality inspections and customer-ready standards. You will craft curriculum, lead site startup processes, and ensure adherence to project specifications while supporting continuous improvement across projects.

Responsibilities include conducting field walks, managing quality checklists, and collaborating with operations leadership to elevate craftsmanship and safety.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of training experience or related role.
  • Prefer five (5) years of leadership or quality experience in telecom, electrical, or construction fields.
  • BICSI certified trainer preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, deliver, and reinforce trade-related instruction for installation, material handling, and testing procedures.
  • Lead development of site-specific Quality Plans and Site Startup processes.
  • Support First-of-Kind installations and obtain customer approval on iterations.
  • Manage scheduling, inspection, and completion of quality checklists across platforms.
  • Conduct daily field walks to identify quality issues and verify conformance with standards.
  • Provide on-site technical support and drive continuous improvement with leadership.
