Job summary

IES seeks a Quality Training Specialist to develop trade-related curricula, provide classroom and on-site training, and perform quality audits for diverse projects. You will deliver hands-on demonstrations and assessments while maintaining standards and safety across teams.

The role requires multiple years in training, project management in technical fields, and proficiency with MS Office and MS Project. On-site work with flexible duties is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years training experience or related role.
• Prefer a minimum of five (5) years project management experience in telecommunications, electrical or related field.
• Prefer a BICSI certified trainer.
• Knowledge of job costing, job planning, quality management, safety training and contract administration.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project).
• Meet Company minimum driving standards.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory practice preferred.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods and tools.
• Arithmetic, algebra, geometry and applications.
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide trade-related training in the classroom.
• Develop pre-employment trade-related skill assessments.
• Plan, conduct and evaluate management training.
• Conduct needs assessments related to procedures and workflows.
• Deliver training using classroom, webinars and software applications.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and write performance reports.
• Maintain organization standards and training quality.
• Design new training programs and revise existing ones.
• Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
