Job summary

West Elm in Nashville is seeking a dynamic Trade Sales Specialist to grow the trade customer base in a defined region. You will identify associations, develop and execute events to drive traffic, and promote West Elm products and services to trade clients through in-store service, calls, visits and trade shows.

Collaborate with store teams to leverage trade opportunities, share information, and support customer service and operations. Full-time, on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong customer service and sales aptitude with a can-do approach.
• 2–3 years of outside sales experience with a goal-driven mindset.
• Knowledge of remodeling/building trades is a plus.
• Experience with Dynamics AX, Salesforce, and POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and grow the trade customer base in a defined client segment and geographic region of the retail store.
• Identify associations to reach out to and build connections.
• Develop and execute events to drive traffic and position Rejuvenation as a resource.
• Promote Rejuvenation products and services to trade clients via in-store service, calls, site visits and events.
• Build knowledge of building activity within the retail trade area.
• Collaborate with store sales associates to share trade information and identify trade prospects.
• Coordinate with Call Center and WSI Contract teams to grow trade business.
• Support the store in customer service and operations, including opening/closing as Key Holder.
