Job summary

West Elm is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver a unique shopping experience through exceptional customer service and in-depth product knowledge in a fast-paced specialty retail setting.

You will drive sales, operate the register accurately, assist with gift services, and contribute to visual merchandising while maintaining store standards and cleanliness. Availability for full-time work is expected, with opportunities to grow within a fast-growing, data-driven retailer.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years customer service and retail sales experience preferred.
• Full-time associates must have open availability to meet business needs.
• Part-Time Flex associates must be available two weekend shifts and two weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide sincere, friendly, energetic customer service by upholding World-Class standards.
• Assist customers with gift wrap, gift registry, catalog orders, special orders, back orders, and furniture orders.
• Operate POS system for sales, returns and exchanges.
• Maintain and stock visually appealing merchandise presentation and signage.
• Perform ticketing, restocking, and general store upkeep as directed.
