Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Trade Foreman 2 to support routine and non-routine construction activities, supervise a crew, and ensure work is performed efficiently. This role aligns with JE Dunn’s safety culture and Lean practices to deliver projects on time and within quality standards.

You will lead crew production, manage subcontractor coordination, and participate in preplanning such as crew size, schedule, and materials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Vocational/Technical degree in related field (Preferred)
• 3+ years commercial construction experience
• 2+ years field supervision experience
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in safety culture by demonstrating commitment to injury-free environment and mentoring others.
• Works with tools to complete assigned tasks on a project.
• Tracks and reports units and labor hours, including timecards submission.
• Maintains tools and equipment to support project productions.
• Leads and monitors safety and security procedures within the crew.
• Understands and achieves crew production goals and sizes.
• Documents key information such as activities and crew sizes.
• Coordinates inspections for assigned scope of work.
• Participates in safety activities and job site analysis.
• Reads plans and coordination drawings and provides on-the-job guidance.
