Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Trade Foreman 2 to support routine and non-routine construction activities across large Industrial & Manufacturing projects. You will supervise a crew, perform tasks, track labor hours, and ensure safety and quality align with project goals.

You will read plans, coordinate with trades, manage materials, and mentor team members while upholding Lean practices and JE Dunn's standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years commercial construction experience.
• 2+ years field supervision experience.
• Ability to read and understand plans, drawings and specifications.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds; travel may be required.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Learns and participates in all aspects of the company’s safety culture by demonstrating commitment to an injury free environment and mentoring others.
• Works with tools to complete specific assigned tasks on a project.
• Tracks and reports units and labor hours, including filling out and submitting timecards.
• Maintains proper care and the appropriate number of tools and equipment necessary to support productions specific to a project.
• Leads and monitors safety and security procedures within the crew.
• Understands and achieves crew production goals and establishes crew sizes.
• Documents key information such as activities, productions and crew sizes.
• Coordinates deliveries and materials with suppliers to jobsite.
• Understands and maintains established quality levels and project standards.
• Coordinates other trade work and assists with preplanning and scheduling.
• Participates in safety activities such as toolbox talks and job hazard analyses.
• Reads plans and specifications and provides on-the-job guidance to team members.
• Coordinates inspections and updates punch lists.
• Participants in Lean-based daily stand-ups and pull planning.
