Job summary

CesiumAstro in Austin, TX is seeking a Trade Compliance Administrator II to manage export licensing, regulatory classifications, and documentation for aerospace and defense products. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant international transactions and maintain accurate records.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and export control processes, plus experience with compliance reporting, screening, and audit support.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of U.S. export controls, trade compliance principles, and export licensing.
• Understanding of ITAR, EAR, OFAC requirements, and export-controlled technical data.
• Experience reviewing export documentation, screening results, and licensing records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare export license applications and related documentation.
• Review USML categories and ECCNs for classification and jurisdiction.
• Evaluate routine shipments and technology transfers for authorization requirements.
• Conduct restricted-party screening and end-user/end-use reviews.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather information for compliance needs.
• Maintain export authorizations, classifications, and screening records.
