Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Trade Compliance Administrator II to lead export control activities for aerospace products and programs. You will classify items, prepare filings, and coordinate with Engineering, Contracts, Legal, and supply chain to ensure regulatory alignment and compliant transactions.

The role involves ITAR/EAR/OFAC compliance, license management, and documentation oversight across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced space technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2–5 years of experience in trade compliance or export controls.
• Knowledge of ITAR, EAR and OFAC requirements.
• Experience reviewing export documentation and licensing records to identify discrepancies.
• Familiarity with TAAs, Technology Control Plans (TCPs), and deemed exports.
• Understanding of regulatory recordkeeping, authorization tracking, and reporting processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare export license applications and related documentation per regulatory guidance.
• Review USML categories, ECCNs, and classifications to determine jurisdiction.
• Evaluate shipments and data transfers to identify required authorizations.
• Conduct restricted-party screening and end-user/end-use reviews.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Legal and other functions for compliance needs.
• Maintain export authorizations and supporting records in approved systems.
