Job summary

CesiumAstro seeks a Senior Trade Compliance Administrator to lead export controls, licensing, and regulatory reviews across aerospace and defense operations. You will classify items, assess licensing needs, and ensure proper documentation while collaborating with engineering, contracts, and legal teams.

The role requires strong ITAR/EAR knowledge, ECCN expertise, and experience with TAAs, TCPs, and screening processes in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, international business, or related field; 5–8 years in trade compliance or related area.
• Strong knowledge of ITAR, EAR, OFAC regulations and USML/ECCN classifications.
• Experience applying compliance procedures to licensing, screening, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare export licenses, TAAs, exemptions, and license exceptions per ITAR, EAR, and requirements.
• Assess classifications, USML categories, ECCNs and jurisdiction for hardware/software/tech data.
• Review international shipments and tech data transfers for licensing needs and compliance.
• Conduct restricted-party screening and end-use/end-user due diligence for regulatory risks.
• Evaluate foreign-person access and TCPs; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain export authorizations and supporting documentation per regulatory requirements.
