Job summary

Ontivity is seeking a Tower Foreman to lead erection, construction, and maintenance of communication tower sites. You will supervise tower crews, ensure OSHA safety requirements, and support the Construction and Project Managers in daily operations.

This is a safety-sensitive role requiring travel and hands-on leadership on multiple sites. You will mentor crew members and drive safe, high-quality installations across our network.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; three years tower climbing experience.
• OSHA 10hr training required; OSHA 30hr preferred.
• RF Awareness Certification and First Aid/Rescue training desired.
• Ability to read drawings, piping diagrams, mounting specs, and testing procedures.
• Strong emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site tower activities, day and night, with a safety-first approach.
• Oversee rigging, hoisting, installation, and commissioning tasks at tower sites.
• Coordinate antenna, coax, fiber, and line installations to spec.
• Mentor crew members and lead safety meetings when required.
• Complete JHAs, document closeout packages, and ensure quality control.
• Travel 50-90% weekly to various sites; manage equipment and scheduling.
