Job summary

Ontivity is seeking a Lead Tower Hand to oversee erection, maintenance, and testing of communication tower sites. You will support Foreman and Project Manager, supervise up to 4 crew members, and ensure OSHA safety protocols are followed.

The position requires extensive climb work, travel 50–90%, and strong leadership to mentor juniors while maintaining focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related trade school education preferred.
• Three years' experience in climbing towers, stacking, rigging, etc.
• Must pass pre-employment screening including background and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead tower work ensuring safe, quality installations (rigging, hoisting, fastening).
• Install up-top equipment: masts, antennas, cabling, RRUs, and associated hardware.
• Perform ground and overhead tasks, complete JHA forms, mentor crew on safety.
