Job summary

Ontivity is seeking a skilled Tower Technician Foreman to oversee and mentor a crew responsible for telecommunications tower installations and maintenance. The role requires hands-on leadership, ensuring safety compliance and quality workmanship on site.

You will plan work, manage schedules, and coordinate with crews, while maintaining equipment, handling paperwork, and driving project profitability. Travel is frequent, with a mix of local and remote assignments.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to pass a background check for government security clearances.
• General tower safety knowledge and 100% tie-off techniques.
• Inspect and use PPE.
• Experience with tower construction and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work activities for crew and equipment.
• Ensure crew profitability and on-time completion.
• Maintain quality workmanship and safety on site.
• Climb towers and install antennas, mounts, cables, and related hardware.
• Participate in new tower construction and routine maintenance.
• Lead tailgate safety meetings and complete required paperwork.
• Mentor and train crew members to improve performance.
