Job summary

Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking experienced Toolmakers for its Hastings, Michigan facility. You will build, repair, and maintain dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and production tooling for high-volume manufacturing with a focus on precision, quality, and reliability.

The role offers full-time hours on 2nd and 3rd shifts with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. You will interpret engineering drawings, CAD prints, and specs to determine methods, plan precision machining, and perform setup

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED coupled with Tool & Die or Toolmaker Apprenticeship, or 8+ years progressive Toolmaker experience.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD prints, and specs.
• Experience operating manual machines and CNC Tool Room equipment.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, modify, and maintain precision tooling for high-volume manufacturing.
• Interpret drawings, CAD prints, and specs to determine machining methods and sequences.
• Plan and perform precision machining, bench work, fitting, and finishing of tooling components.
• Set up and operate mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and CNC Tool Room equipment.
• Inspect tooling and machined components for conformance to drawings and specs.
• Diagnose tooling failures and implement repairs to minimise downtime.
