Job summary

Zaddy Solutions seeks experienced Toolmakers for its Hastings, Michigan facility. You will build, repair, and maintain dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and production tooling for high-volume manufacturing, interpreting drawings and CAD prints to guide precision machining.

You will setup manual and CNC tools, perform surface grinding, and verify tolerances using precision measuring equipment. The role offers 2nd & 3rd shift options, full-time direct-hire employment, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience in industry.
• Completed Tool & Die or Toolmaker Apprenticeship or significant experience.
• Experience reading drawings/blueprints and CAD prints.
• Experience using manual/CNC tooling and precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, modify, and maintain precision tooling for high-volume manufacturing.
• Interpret drawings/blueprints/CAD prints to determine machining methods.
• Set up and operate mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and CNC equipment.
• Inspect tooling to ensure conformance to drawings and specs.
• Diagnose failures and perform preventative maintenance.
