Unknown is seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join the Tool Room team in Hastings, Michigan. You will build, repair, modify, and maintain dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and production tooling for high-volume manufacturing, ensuring precision and quality across all operations.

Responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings, setting up manual and CNC tooling, performing precision machining, and testing tooling during production trials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized Tool & Die or Toolmaker Apprenticeship with 4 years' experience, or 8 years progressive Toolmaker experience.
• Experience as Toolmaker or related precision manufacturing roles.
• Experience building/repairing production dies, fixtures, molds, and tooling.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD prints, and technical documentation.
• Experience operating manual machine tools and CNC Tool Room equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Build, repair, modify, and maintain precision tooling for high-volume manufacturing.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, CAD prints, and specs to determine methods and material needs.
• Set up, operate, and maintain mills, lathes, grinders, and CNC Tool Room equipment.
• Inspect tooling and machined components for conformance with drawings and specs.
