Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. seeks a skilled Toolmaker for its Hastings, Michigan facility to build, repair, and maintain dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and production tooling for high-volume operations.

You will interpret drawings and CAD prints, set up and operate manual and CNC tooling, perform precision machining, and verify tolerances to ensure quality. 2nd & 3rd shifts; $33.00–$38.00 per hour DOE, direct-hire with full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience reading drawings/blueprints and interpreting CAD prints.
• Proven ability to setup and operate manual/CNC tooling with tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, modify, and maintain dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
• Interpret drawings/blueprints and determine machining methods and sequences.
• Set up and operate mills, lathes, drills, grinders, and CNC Tool Room equipment.
• Inspect tooling and machined parts for dimensional accuracy against specs.
• Diagnose failures and perform preventative maintenance on tooling.
