Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Decorah, IA is hiring a Toolcrib Attendant for 1st shift (7:00am–3:00pm). You will issue tools and prints, maintain toolcrib organization, stock and label tooling, and ensure accurate tooling counts.

The role includes scanning prints, processing purchasing requisitions, and supporting production orders. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic math, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic math, reading and comprehension required.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO14001 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Issues tools and prints to manufacturing personnel and maintains storage of toolcrib area.
• Assists and maintains stocking of the Cribmaster equipment.
• Toolcrib Organization: ensures tools are properly stored in the toolcrib by bin.
• Ensures machine repair parts are properly stored in the toolcrib.
• Labels tools (bar code) before storing in bins.
• Maintains a neat, orderly crib and adheres to cleaning schedules.
• Maintains header setup sheets and updates forms accordingly.
• Files setup sheets for future use.
• Scans completed Manufacturing Prints into the System and prints for Production Orders.
• Performs purchasing requisitions as requested by supervisor.
• Maintains safety stock on certain items and verifies quantities on receipt.
• Delivers items to proper departments and expedites tooling when needed.
• Substitutes tooling and completes Tooling Change Request when necessary.
• Performs cycle counts of tooling and other duties as assigned.
