Job summary

Zekelman Industries is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Blytheville, AR to ensure safe repair and rebuild of tube mill equipment. Candidates should have a minimum of five years in heavy manufacturing, strong reading of schematics, and experience with PLCs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; apprenticeship or journeyman training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in heavy manufacturing maintenance or similar role.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, precision measuring devices, and reading technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance on equipment following safety procedures (LOTO).
• Ensure all guards and safety equipment are in place and functional before returning equipment to operators.
• Monitor inventories and assist with parts ordering and receipts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics to diagnose issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and quality issues and escalate when needed.
• Perform breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance, and changeovers on production equipment.
• Document equipment status and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Operate cranes and other lifting equipment as required.
