Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years in a heavy manufacturing maintenance role.
High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship or journeyman training preferred.
Proficient with hand and power tools, precision measuring devices, and reading schematics/blueprints.
Familiarity with electrical systems and PLCs; strong mechanical aptitude.
Able to pass job-related testing, employment physical, and drug screening.
Strong teamwork and communication skills in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical maintenance following safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
Ensure guards and safety equipment are in place before returning equipment to operators.
Monitor inventory levels; place orders and verify receipts as needed.
Use maintenance management systems to track and report equipment status.
Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics to diagnose and repair equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and quality issues; escalate when needed.
Perform breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance, and changeovers on production equipment.
Observe equipment operation with precision instruments to diagnose problems.
Fabricate repair parts using machine tools; maintain clean, safe work environment.
