Job summary

Bell Textron in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Front Line Leader – Tooling to supervise the tool fabrication group and drive throughput, safety and quality. This on-site role operates 1st shift with rotating weekend OT and reports to Plant leadership.

You will manage up to 25 union workers, assign daily tasks, evaluate performance, and ensure adherence to the collective bargaining agreement while coordinating with multiple functions to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of tooling experience or leadership in manufacturing.
• Experience with laser measuring equipment and Spatial Analyzer software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily tool fabrication department activities for up to 25 union workers.
• Drive performance, safety, quality, cost management and employee relations.
• Provide daily assignments and direction to direct reports.
• Manage performance with evaluations and corrective steps as needed.
• Ensure compliance with the local Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Use TAKT, earned hours, efficiency, schedule, overhead, and overtime to measure performance.
• Collaborate across Supply Chain, Process Engineering, and Quality to meet objectives.
