Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Grand Prairie, Texas is seeking a Facilities Equipment & Maintenance Front Line Leader for the 1st shift to oversee a union-backed maintenance team and ensure reliable operation of industrial equipment.

You will collaborate with planners, schedulers, and cross-functional teams to maintain schedule adherence, safety, and cost efficiency while mentoring technicians and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or front-line leader in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute all maintenance activities with the Planner and Scheduler.
• Coordinate with production, quality, equipment, process, and industrial engineering to avoid schedule conflicts.
• Monitor and track work orders, parts orders, and equipment performance data.
• Identify maintenance needs and help develop and implement a budget for maintenance activities.
• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and ensure safety and quality.
