Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Front Line Leader – Tooling to supervise the tool fabrication team and drive performance in a 25-person union environment. You’ll plan daily activities, manage safety, quality, cost, and employee relations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple departments. It offers a first shift with occasional weekend OT and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5 years of tooling experience or leadership in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, goal-oriented and data-driven mindset.
• Experience with Leica or similar laser measuring equipment and Spatial Analyzer software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign and direct daily tool fabrication activities for up to 25 union employees.
• Drive performance, safety, quality, cost management, and employee relations.
• Provide daily assignment direction to direct reports.
• Manage performance through evaluations and corrective steps.
• Operate under the local union Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Use TAKT, earned hours, efficiency, schedule, overhead, and overtime to measure performance.
• Collaborate across Supply Chain, Process Engineering, CI, Quality, etc.
