Job summary

Bell Textron is seeking a Front Line Leader DSC for the 3rd shift at the Drive Systems Center in Grand Prairie, Texas. You will supervise up to 25 union workers, assign daily work, and drive throughput to ensure profitable production.

This role requires strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and data-driven decision making. You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, and Quality to meet TAKT and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 5 years of manufacturing or military experience is required.
• Effective interpersonal, leadership, communication, and organization skills.
• Being goal-oriented and data driven with a strong sense of urgency.
• Capable of leveraging modern business systems and have basic computer skills.
• Must be an empowering team leader, that encourages growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Assign, manage and direct daily manufacturing activities for up to 25 union workers in their area.
• Provide daily assignment and direction to direct reports.
• Conduct disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Manage in accordance with the local production union Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Provide metrics-driven accountability for TAKT, earned hours, efficiency, schedule, overhead and overtime charges.
• Collaborate with multiple functions (Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Quality, etc.).
