Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks a Tooling Design Engineer in Bellevue, OH to lead tooling design, capital equipment projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will report to a Director and collaborate with the Tooling Department Lead on diverse engineering tasks.

Responsibilities include CAD/3D design, tooling fixtures, ERP BOMs, and hands-on troubleshooting on the shop floor. A technical degree and five years of manufacturing experience are required.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Lead End-to-End NPI from RFQ through production launch, evaluating customer 3D models/drawings and defining manufacturing sequences.
• Create 3D CAD models, tooling, fixtures, and documentation while using simulation to validate material flow and forming sequences.
• Maintain BOMs, routings, and standard cycle times in ERP to ensure shop-floor execution.
• Perform root-cause analysis, optimize OEE by reducing scrap and downtime.
• Scope, cost-justify and manage timelines for major capital equipment with external vendors.
