Job summary

Tooling Design Engineer in Bellevue, OH is sought to own tooling design, capital equipment projects, and drive continuous improvement. You will report to the Director and partner with the Tooling Department Lead on end-to-end NPI, BOMs, and manufacturing process definitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• Minimum of five years of tooling design experience in manufacturing.
• Experience determining manufacturability and RFQ processes.
• Experience creating BOMs in an ERP system and reading blueprints.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D software and MS Office required.

Responsibilities

• Lead tooling design and capital equipment projects end-to-end.
• Create 3D CAD models, tooling, fixtures, and documentation.
• Manage BOMs, routings, and ERP data for shop-floor execution.
• Conduct tooling trials, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with vendors from selection to installation.
