Job summary

A diversified manufacturing employer in Bellevue, OH is seeking a Tooling Design Engineer to lead tooling design, capital equipment projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will report to a Director and work closely with the Tooling Department Lead in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

You will create 3D CAD models, manage ERP BOMs and routings, read blueprints, and drive end-to-end NPI from RFQ through production launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Minimum five years of similar manufacturing experience.
• Experience with RFQ process and BOM creation in an ERP system.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience with 2D and/or 3D software.

Responsibilities

• Lead tooling design and capital equipment projects.
• Manage RFQ process and supplier coordination.
• Maintain ERP BOMs, routings, and shop floor standards.
• Perform tooling tryouts and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introductions (NPI).
