Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group in Bellevue, OH seeks a Tooling Design Engineer to own end-to-end tooling projects from RFQ to production. You will design tooling, fixtures, and related documentation, working hands-on on the factory floor and coordinating with leadership to deliver quality results.

This role requires a technical bachelor’s degree and at least five years in tooling design within manufacturing, with ERP BOM management and CAD proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Minimum five years of similar experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Tooling design experience.
• Experience determining manufacturability of parts.
• Experience completing the RFQ process.
• Experience with BOM creation in an ERP system.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience with 2D and/or 3D software.
• Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End NPI ownership from RFQ to production launch.
• CAD, tooling, and simulation design of fixtures and documentation.
• Establish and maintain BOMs, routings, and ERP data for shop-floor execution.
• Troubleshooting, tryouts & continuous improvement to reduce waste.
• Capital equipment scope, ROI, and vendor management through installation.
