Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Decorah, IA is hiring a Toolcrib Attendant for the 1st shift (7:00am–3:00pm). You will issue tools and prints to manufacturing personnel and maintain the toolcrib area, while assisting with stocking and Cribmaster equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math, good organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Training on tooling systems and blueprints is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide) are required.
• Strong organizational abilities and accuracy in work.
• Ability to work well with people in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Keyboarding speed of about 45 words per minute.
• Familiarity with IATF16949 and ISO14001 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Issue tools and prints to manufacturing personnel and maintain storage of the toolcrib area.
• Assist and maintain stocking of Cribmaster equipment.
• Ensure tools are properly labeled and stored in bins.
• Maintain a neat, clean crib and adhere to schedules.
• Scan manufacturing prints into the system and issue prints for production orders.
• Perform cycle counts of tooling and assist with inventory control.
