Job summary

Cedarparktexasedc is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant to manage tool inventory, distribution, and support machine shop operations on the day shift. You will safely and efficiently perform duties receiving, identifying, distributing, and picking tools, fixtures, and supplies while maintaining computerized records and aligning with HSE standards.

You will collaborate with the machine shop and procurement teams, lift 40+ lbs, and use CribMaster/JDEdwards to keep accurate inventory data.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a tool crib or tool maintenance support role.
• Proficiency with CribMaster and JD Edwards inventory software.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities across departments.
• Computer skills (MS Office).
• Familiarity with machine shop tooling and gauging equipment (preferred).
• Knowledge of 5S principles and implementation.
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs, sit/stand/bend, and reach overhead.

Responsibilities

• Work with tool control records, inventory records and storage facilities.
• Operate sharpening and grinding equipment.
• Keep accurate records for computerized inventory system.
• Keep accurate records on withdrawals and returns of tool crib equipment.
• Maintain up-to-date information on equipment usage and replenishing needs.
• Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
