Zusammenfassung

Acme Industries, Inc. is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant on 2nd shift to assemble, preset, stage, and issue cutting tools and consumables for the machining operations.

You will ensure tooling is accurate, labeled, available, and ready before jobs begin and respond to live floor demands. You will collaborate with machinists, setup techs, and supervisors to stage tooling ahead of jobs, maintain crib organization, track inventory, and prevent tooling-related downtime across the shift.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
• Ability to read job setup sheets and tooling instructions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently on 2nd shift with limited supervision.

Aufgaben

• Assemble and preset cutting tools and consumables for production.
• Coordinate with 2nd shift to ensure tooling is ready before start.
• Respond quickly to live tooling requests and replenish as needed.
• Maintain crib organization and inventory accuracy; document transactions.
• Support shop floor with basic tooling troubleshooting and safe practices.
