Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Decorah, IA is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm). You will set up and run fastener manufacturing equipment, maintain quality, and ensure on-time production while following safety rules.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, reading blueprints, math competence, and effective English communication. A sign-on bonus accompanies the position and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrated base mechanical skills.
• Basic math skills for blueprint reading and gauging.
• Ability to communicate in English in written and verbal formats.
• Ability to read blueprints and use gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate one or more machines to meet print requirements.
• Maintain high quality and production output under supervision.
• Record SPC/IATF16949 data and update signsheets.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with minor repairs.
• Follow safety rules and keep work area clean and organized.
