Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrated base mechanical skills and aptitude.
• Basic math skills for blueprint reading, gaging, etc.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to communicate in English in both written and verbal formats.
• Ability to identify basic equipment problems.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate one or more machines under close supervision to meet print requirements.
• Read manufacturing blueprints and select proper tooling or tooling rework with supervision.
• Evaluate simple tooling and maintenance problems independently and refer complex issues to lead or supervisor.
• Maintain production efficiencies of 40%-60% of machine group capacities.
• Communicate all necessary information through shift changes.
• Assist maintenance in minor repairs and support continuous improvement.
