Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is hiring a Machine Operator for the Decorah, IA facility on the 11:00pm–7:00am shift. You will operate and set up machines, read blueprints, and monitor quality to meet production needs. A basic math and blueprint reading background helps you ensure accuracy and productivity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and blueprint reading skills necessary.
• Experience with measuring tools preferred.
• Ability to read English instructions and communicate clearly.
• Capable of identifying basic equipment problems.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines to meet print requirements under supervision.
• Read blueprints and select tooling with guidance.
• Maintain quality levels and record data for SPC/IATF16949.
• Perform basic maintenance and assist with repairs as needed.
• Work effectively with teammates and follow safety rules.
