Job summary

SouthernCarlson is seeking a Service Technician to perform hands‑on troubleshooting and repair of pneumatic and electric power tools at our Lynnwood location. You will guide customers on tool operation, process orders, and document service records with accuracy while supporting sales and ensuring satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing small engines or construction tools.
• Experience with pneumatic/electric power tools preferred.
• Construction/industrial supply industry experience a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused with good communication.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and electric power tools including nail guns and staple guns
• Provide customers with guidance on proper tool operation and maintenance
• Process and fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Complete documentation such as work orders, parts orders, and service records
• Partner with the sales team to resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction
• Deliver professional, friendly customer service during all service interactions
