Job summary

Professional Tool Center seeks a detail-oriented Tool Service & Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of power tools, hand tools, pneumatic tools, and related equipment, while delivering outstanding customer service. You will report to the Customer Service Supervisor, read schematics, maintain repair notes, order parts, and provide accurate cost estimates.

  • Diagnose and repair a variety of tools including electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and determine the best course of repair.
  • Accurately read and interpret schematics and technical documents.
  • Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and repair notes in the system.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding tool condition, repair options, and cost estimates.
  • Order and track necessary parts and components for repairs.
