Job summary

AriensCo is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker for our 2nd shift manufacturing team in Tennessee. You will build, repair, and maintain tooling, fixtures, and production equipment, reading drawings and CAD models, and operating mills, lathes, and grinders to ensure safe, efficient production.

The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, an independent work style, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Qualifications

Journeyman Tool and DIE Maker certification or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in toolmaking, machining, fixture building, or tooling maintenance.
Ability to read blueprints and GD&T; proficiency with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

Build, assemble, maintain, and repair tooling, fixtures, gauges, and production equipment.
Troubleshoot tooling and fixtures to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret drawings, CAD models, and specifications.
Operate manual and CNC machine tools including mills, lathes, and grinders.
Fit, align, and adjust tooling components to meet quality standards.
Perform preventative maintenance on tooling and fixtures.
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and production teams.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities for tooling reliability.
Maintain documentation related to repairs and maintenance.
Follow safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
