AriensCo is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker for our 2nd shift manufacturing team. You will build, repair, and optimize tooling, fixtures, and production equipment to keep operations efficient and safe.

Ideal candidates read engineering drawings and GD&T, operate mills, lathes, surface grinders, and other tool-room tools, and can work independently in a fast-paced setting. Join a company that values growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Tool and DIE Maker certification or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in toolmaking, machining, fixture building, or tooling maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.
• Proficiency using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and height gauges.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical activities associated with tool room work.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, maintain, and repair tooling, fixtures, gauges, and production support equipment.
• Troubleshoot tooling, fixtures, and equipment issues to minimize production downtime.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications.
• Operate manual and CNC machine tools including mills, lathes, surface grinders, drill presses, and other tool room equipment.
• Fit, align, and adjust tooling components to meet quality and performance requirements.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tooling and fixtures.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to support manufacturing operations and process improvements.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for tooling reliability and performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
