Job summary

MPI Engineered Technologies is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker/Machinist for the 2nd shift. The role involves constructing, repairing, and maintaining precision dies and tooling with strict tolerances. Must have a T2 Journey Card and be able to read blueprints.

Starting pay is $27.78 per hour, with a 2nd shift schedule. Candidates should be able to operate milling, turning, grinding, drilling, and cutoff equipment and work safely in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Current T2 Tool & Die Journey Card – required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience as a Tool & Die Maker and/or Machinist.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong math skills including decimals, fractions, geometry.

Responsibilities

• Operate Tool Room machinery, including milling, turning, grinding, drilling, and cutoff equipment.
• Perform machine and equipment setups.
• Construct, repair, modify, and maintain dies, fixtures, gauges, and tooling.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements.
• Use precision measuring tools and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Work within tight tolerances, including ±0.0001" when required.
