Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Tool Crib Specialist to support New Glenn GS1 Vehicle Stage Integration. You will maintain tool accountability, calibration readiness, workspace readiness, and FOD prevention across cribs and asset cabinets, ensuring production technicians have access to the tools they need in the condition they require.

Responsibilities include inspecting tools, updating digital inventories in real time, processing tool checkout requests, and reporting damaged or missing items.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent present.
• Experience in tool crib operations or inventory management.
• Ability to read and interpret tool-tracking records.

Responsibilities

• Perform tool accountability inspections three times per shift, verify tools against digital records.
• Conduct FOD/5S walks and ensure workspace organization compliance.
• Maintain digital tool inventories and update tool status in real time.
• Process tool checkout/return requests and document accountability.
• Report damaged or missing tools and initiate replacement workflows.
• Submit calibration service tickets and track tools through calibration.
