Blue Origin is seeking a Tool Crib Technician to support New Glenn GS1 Vehicle Stage Integration. You will maintain tool accountability, calibrations, workspace readiness, and FOD prevention, ensuring production technicians have the tools they need without production interruptions.

You will manage digital inventories, update tool status in real time, process tool requests, and report issues promptly. This role requires attention to detail, hands-on precision, and ability to work across multiple

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years experience in tool crib operations, inventory management, warehouse, or hands-on environment requiring tool accountability.
• Attention to detail with inspections, audits, or inventory verification.
• Experience navigating multiple software platforms.
• Ability to identify common hand tools, precision instruments, and powered equipment by sight and function.

Responsabilidades

• Perform tool accountability inspections three times per shift, verifying every tool against digital records.
• Conduct FOD/5S walks at shift start, inspecting for debris, accountability, and organization.
• Verify tool accountability chits in all toolbox locations including calibration, lost/damaged, on loan, and new tool on order.
• Maintain digital tool inventories across tracking systems and update tool status in real time.
• Process tool requests from production technicians including checkout, return, and verification.
• Identify and report broken, worn, damaged, or missing tools and initiate replacements.
• Submit calibration service tickets for tools nearing or past calibration due dates.
• Monitor loaned tools and follow up on returns.
• Maintain organized toolbox layouts per FOD and tool control procedures.
• Support end-of-shift handoff with shift pass down communications.
