Job summary

Child Saving Institute in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking an Assistant Educator to supervise daily classroom activities and provide a safe, nurturing environment for young children. You will support early development through structured learning and maintain progress records while communicating with families.

This role requires 1+ year in ECE, CDA or equivalent, First Aid/CPR certification, and strong communication skills. Bilingual ability is a plus. Equal opportunity employer; no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in early childhood education or child development.
• Strong communication with staff, clients, and caregivers.
• Observant of developmental stages in children.
• Certified in First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain).
• CDA credential or 12 ECE credits, or HS diploma with CDA plan within 12 months.
• Experience in licensed childcare center is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily classroom activities.

• Maintain daily records of each child's care and progress.
