Job summary

Child Saving Institute in Omaha, NE is seeking an Assistant Educator to join Early Head Start. You will supervise daily activities, provide a nurturing environment, and support early learning through structured lessons.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in early childhood education, strong communication skills, CPR/First Aid certification, and a CDA or equivalent credential meeting state requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in early childhood education or child development.
• Certified in First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain upon hire).
• At least 19 years of age and eligible for CDA or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily classroom activities.
• Provide a safe, nurturing environment and foster healthy development through structured learning.
• Maintain daily records related to care and progress of each child.
• Communicate effectively with parents and discuss concerns in conferences.
