Child Saving Institute in Omaha, Nebraska is hiring an Educational Aide to support early childhood education. You will assist staff, help maintain a safe, nurturing environment, and engage with children throughout daily routines and learning experiences.

The role focuses on fostering curiosity, social skills, and independence while communicating with families and supervising activities in classrooms and on outings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old and a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong communication with staff, children, and caregivers.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and program manuals.
• Ability to write daily child care reports and support lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Help children discover new interests in their daily environment.
• Develop age-appropriate learning and socialization to teach basic skills.
• Keep daily records related to each child’s care.
• Provide direct, effective supervision of children in classrooms, field trips, and outdoors.
• Support lead educators and classroom staff in hands-on activities and routines.
• Promote self-help skills and independence in children.
• Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers during drop-off, pick-up, and updates.
• Interact respectfully with children, parents, and team members.
